Pharmacy Services
The pharmacy at Duke Children's offers a full spectrum of services for patients and families.
Pharmacy services are provided in three sites within Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center. There are specially trained pharmacists who prepare and distribute medications for the hospitalized children. These pharmacies also offer important consultative services to physicians, nurses, patients, and families.

Children's Health Center
The Children's Outpatient Pharmacy is designed to help meet the outpatient medication needs of patients receiving care in Duke's Children's Health Center as well as pediatric patients being discharged from Duke Children's Hospital.
Prescription products, a limited supply of non-prescription medications, and medication counseling for patients and families is provided. Many hard-to-find products, such as injectable drugs and compounded preparations, can be obtained from the Duke Children's Outpatient Pharmacy.
We seek to help our patients obtain the products and services they need and enhance patient care through improved use and understanding of medications by patients and their families.

Children's Health Center
The Children's Health Center Clinic/Day Hospital Support Pharmacy provides drug products and information to health care providers taking care of patients in the day hospital, treatment rooms, and procedure areas of the Children's Health Center.
