Offering specialized expertise in the broad spectrum of congenital, developmental and traumatic disorders affecting bones, soft tissues, joints and the neuromuscular system.

For children from birth to early adulthood, the pediatric orthopaedic physicians and specialists at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center provide the highest quality treatment and care for a broad spectrum of congenital, developmental and traumatic disorders affecting bones, soft tissues, joints and the neuromuscular system. We provide surgical and non-surgical treatment for conditions such as scoliosis, club foot, leg length differences, orthopaedic tumors, fractures and cerebral palsy. We also provide a multidisciplinary approach for the treatment and prevention of sports injuries.

The orthopaedics team at Duke Children’s is nationally recognized and highly ranked in U.S. News & World Report as one of the best children’s hospitals for our quality of care and excellence in clinical services and outcomes in orthopedics. Because of our national reputation, many of our patients and their families travel from around the state and neighboring regions to receive treatment.

Our dedicated team of physicians and specialists understands the particular developmental needs of children and work together to ensure your child receives the comprehensive, individualized care they deserve. We encourage the involvement of families in all aspects of diagnosis, treatment and recovery, answering any questions or addressing concerns you might have.
