Duke Children's Cardiology of Fayetteville
Duke Children's Cardiology of Fayetteville (DCCF) was established in October, 2005. Located next to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center (CFVMC), it is the first full-time Duke pediatric subspecialty clinic in Cumberland County. The office is directed by Dr. Stephen Miller, a Duke University pediatric cardiology faculty physician who lives in the Fayetteville community. A free standing Duke outpatient clinic, DCCF provides complete pediatric cardiology care, from fetal echocardiography to adult congenital cardiology. Electrocardiograms and echocardiograms are performed on-site. Outpatient consults and follow up visits are currently being scheduled four days per week.
In addition to outpatient care, Dr. Miller and his team also provide inpatient consultative services to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. They work closely with CFVMC pediatricians, neonatologists, emergency physicians, and intensivists to provide inpatient pediatric cardiology evaluation and treatment. In addition, Dr. Miller reads all CFVMC pediatric cardiac studies, including electrocardio grams, echocardiograms and extended arrhytmia monitors.
Through this close relationship with Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, local pediatricians and the surrounding community, we strive to extend the highest level of quality care to pediatric cardiology patients in Fayetteville and the surrounding areas.
Duke Children's Cardiology of Greensboro
Duke Children’s Cardiology of Greensboro (DCCG) is located on North Church Street across the street from the Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. Duke Children’s Cardiology of Greensboro provides comprehensive pediatric heart care for patients in Greensboro and surrounding areas. The office is directed by Dr. Gregory Fleming, a Duke University pediatric cardiology faculty physician who lives in the Greensboro community.
DCCG provides a full spectrum of care including services for children with known or suspected congenital or acquired heart disease; children with hypertension and/or lipid disorders; fetal echocardiography and consultative services; and management of adults with known congenital heart disease. Fetal Cardiology services provided at this practice include comprehensive diagnostic and consultative services for fetuses with known or suspected cardiac disease.
Our goal is to provide the highest quality care in a convenient, comfortable setting. Our multidisciplinary approach aims to minimize disruption to the family through comprehensive, coordinated care. In addition to outpatient services, Dr. Fleming also provides inpatient services, including consultations and echocardiograms at all hospitals in the Moses Cone Health System. Our established relationship with local pediatricians, primary care providers, and the Moses Cone Health System enables us to offer the highest level of inpatient care to pediatric cardiology patients in Greensboro and the surrounding region.
