Host Homes

For family members visiting from out of town, Host Home representatives can arrange a single room in an area private home, or provide hotel, rental and apartment information. Some accommodations are without cost while others charge a fee. Call 919-681-4947 for more information.

Ronald McDonald House

Since 1980, the Ronald McDonald House of Durham has allowed families to focus on the health and well-being of their critically ill children by keeping families together who are in need of a community of hope, comfort, and empathy. With help from our generous community, families count on the Ronald McDonald House to provide a 'home away from home' every day at our House and Family Rooms.

Pediatric patients and their families are eligible for overnight accommodations at the Ronald McDonald House. Outpatients and their families receive priority. A minimal donation is requested. Transportation to and from the Duke Children's Hospital is available during weekdays.
