2009 Duke Family Fun Run & Walk

The Duke Family Fun Run/Walk is an experience you will always remember. It is much more than a fundraiser--it is a FUN community event for participants ranging from serious runners to recreational walkers, families, and pets. We have a great morning planned for the whole family.

Register for the exhilarating 2.9 mile run, walk or stroll around the beautiful Al Buehler Trail which circles the Washington Duke Golf Course. We also have a Baby Run and Toddler Trot that offers a short distance event--something for everyone!

  • Jump Castle, face painting and Molly Anne's balloon animals
  • Carolina Hurricane Mascot, Stormy
  • Plus, magician Joshua Lozoff

Run/Walk details: A $2 donation will go to the Duke Children's Hospital. The 2.9 mile Run/Walk starts at 9 a.m., followed by Baby Run and Toddler Trot at 10 a.m. A gift will be given to the first 300 to register and check in on race day.
